And God said, "Let there be light,"

Heaven
ליבֵשָׁה אֶרֶץ

He made the green grass
עֵצִים מְלַבְלְבִים,
and flourishing trees
וּבָרָא אֶת הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ
And created the Sun
וְאֶת הַיָּרֵחַ
And the moon
וְאֶת כָּל הַדָּגִים
And the fish
וְהַתַּנִּינִים,
And the large sea creatures
וְאֶת הָעוֹפוֹת וְהַנְּחָשִׁים
The birds and the snakes
וְיִבְרָא אֱלֹהִים אִישׁ וְאִשָּׁה,
And God created man and woman
וִירֵא כִּי טוֹב מְאֹד
And God saw the it was very good
וירֵא כִּי טוֹב,
And it was good
וירֵא כִּי טוֹב,
He saw it was good
הוּא רָאָה כִּי טוֹב מְאֹד
He saw it was very good.
וַיְכֻלּ֛וּ
Now it was completed
הַשָּׁמַ֥יִם
The Heaven
וְהָאָ֖רֶץ
The Earth
וְכָל-צְבָאָֽם:
And all their host
וַיְכַ֤ל אֱלֹהִים֙
And God completed
בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י
On the seventh day
מְלַאכְתּ֖וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֑ה
All the work which he had made
וַיִּשְׁבֹּת֙
And he rested
בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י

From all the work which he had made
